Versa Dance Company and Dance Arts Centre's (DAC) dance concert A Collective of Modern Dance is designed to provide an avenue for Brevard County residents to experience innovative and avant-garde Modern choreography. The concert will feature solos, duet, trios and group dances. This performance will provide a unique collaboration between professional and amateur modern dancers, most of whom are DAC alumni, instructors or current students.
Dance Arts Centre is a non-profit dance studio serving two locations in Brevard County since 1982. It is DAC’s mission to bring positive change into our communities youth life's through creative movement and the arts; while introducing audiences to the vast differences in dance styles through our innovative and local ground-breaking choreography. In order to better serve the community, DAC applied for its non-profit status in 2007 and received approval in May of 2008. Dance Arts Centre not only promotes excellent dance training by qualified staff members, but also fosters youth to become involved and active within their community.
